Then to Selly Park, Birmingham

Convent at Selly ParkUnder the wise and courageous leadership of Geneviève Dupuis the Congregation developed and expanded. Bishop Ullathorne of Birmingham requested that the Mother House be in his Cathedral city.

The independence of the Congregation, formally conceded by Rome in 1864, was ratified by the establishment of its mother house in Selly Park in the same year.
