I am Lisa Kinghorn and I live in 'Bethany' the Formation House, with four other Sisters.
I am a Novice, so welcome to this new world of mine called a Novitiate - a world of radical generosity and Christ-centred ideals. I am adapting to the challenge of trying to follow the Lord - His way - but it certainly is a big change from my previous style of free choice and do as you please!
My daily routine in community consists of regular prayer, scripture study, household duties, as well as occasional teaching and voluntary work at the Fireside Day Centre for vulnerable people.
So far I have had a fantastic experience full of satisfaction and joy, albeit not without occasional resistance and doubt on my part.
Responding to the Lord in daily fidelity promises the best while it demands one's all.
